Problem:
St. Mary Medical Center wanted to raise the bar in heart care so they opened the new Academy of Heart Care Excellence to advance the state of cardiac care in the High Desert. Knowing that patients get referred to a cardiologist by their primary physician, St. Mary needed to brand this academy to increase referrals to their cardiologists.
Insight/Strategy:
When heart patients need a cardiologist, they want to go to a hospital that has the highest benchmarks for cardiac procedures, patient care and outcomes. In an effort to reduce the number of illnesses and fatalities due to heart failure, St. Mary marketed their Academy of Heart Care Excellence so more patients could be referred to a cardiologist.
Results:
The integrated campaign for the Academy of Heart Care Excellence at St. Mary Medical Center not only increased brand awareness, but increased the referrals to the cardiologists by 20%.
